Story Bocs backer shelf
Welcome to our first crowdfunded collection :) In 2024, we ran a Kickstarter campaign to fund a set of bocs builds and the start of our library archive. We are so very grateful to our pioneering backers, we absolutely could not have done this without you all!
The library archive
Murkside library has its own lore and so we have created a file of documents telling its origin story. This is an ongoing project that will be added to over the years, revealing more stories and linking clues together. It's an adventure in itself and each time we invite people to join in, we add secret side quests! As part of our commitment to making everything we do accessible to everyone, we have digital versions of each piece and we're working on a 3d virtual exhibition space for Story Bocs, which this shelf will become part of. The Story Bocs
Seven unique bocs were created in addition to the archive, giving us a great opportunity to try out different materials and build types. Each has its own one-off story that will only ever be read by its new owner, and contains at least one special effect - be that lights, sound or motion via a mechanical element. Larger bocs boast at least two. We've had great fun making these 3d habitats for our tales, so we're delighted to be able to share this gallery of the highlights.
